What We Do
We support young people aged 16 to 25 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We support them to access crisis accommodation, getting ready to apply for rental properties, and registering with the Department of Housing to use subsidies and products they offer.
How We Help You
At Bega Valley Youth Homelessness Support Service we:
- show you pathways to rental options
- support you to remain in your existing home
- refer you to other services to address your needs
- help you apply for rental accommodation
- see if you are eligible to apply for NSW Housing
- review your budget

Feedback From The People We Work With
“Thank you so much for everything you have all done. You have made such a difference in our lives. It means that coming down here [to the Bega Valley] wasn’t for nothing because you helped us with things that no one told us about. Thank you so so much.”
What One Of Our Team Wanted To Share With You
We worked on the “Sleep on it Challenge” with other agencies and raised awareness of homelessness and $40k for the Social Justice Advocates charity to provide temporary accommodation. If you want to apply for NSW Housing on your own click here.
