 Who you are 

  • Minimum qualifications of Dip Community Services Welfare or equivalent or willingness to undertake further study. 
  • Must hold a current drivers’ license, have or be willing to undergo a National Criminal History and a Working with Children check.  
  • Being a woman is a genuine requirement for this position under Section 31.2H of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977

Caseworker – Part time 56 hrs/fn 

What you’ll do 

  • Provide flexible and responsive services to women and children who are homeless and may be affected by DFV 
  • Work within the service provision and specialist homelessness guidelines 
  • Outreach visits are based on need 
  • Make independent decisions relating to case management with children and women, with reference to the program manager where appropriate.
