Walk Against Violence Everyone!

  • 60 crosses will be carried to signify women and children who have lost their lives to domestic and family violence this year.
  • The crosses will be planted at the gardens followed by a minutes noise because we will not remain silent about domestic violence.

The crosses will be planted at the gardens followed by a minutes noise because we will not remain silent about domestic violence.
Please join us and SAY NO TO VIOLENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY meet at Kisses Lagoon at 11.15 for 11.30 to join the walk to Littleton Gardens

The concept of “non-violence” and “peaceful communities” will be demonstrated by floating lanterns in remembrance of victims of domestic violence. The event will be held as part of 16 days of activism to stop violence, which encompasses White Ribbon Day and World Peace Day.

This is an initiative of The Bega Valley Domestic and Sexual Violence Committee. For more information please contact Gabrielle Powell 6492 1367.
